NVIDIA has just launched several GPUs meant for notebook
PCs. Known as the GeForce GT 700M, the mobile GPU series offer plenty of
performance whilst using only a fraction of power. The GeForce GT700M series
consists of the GeForce GT 750M, GT 745M, GT 740M, GT 730M and GT 720M.

Features of the GT 700M
GPUs include the latest NVIDIA Optimus technology, GeForce Experience support,
and for the first time in its mobile offerings: NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0. Optimus
is no stranger when it comes to NVIDIA-powered notebook PCs, offering
intelligent power output to maximize battery life.
As for the GeForce
Experience, this is NVIDIA’s cloud-based automatic game-optimization service
that lets you download optimized settings for a number of games. Last but not
least, these new GPUs support NVIDIA’s GPU Boost 2.0, which dynamically
overclocks the GPU to provide the best performance possible.

According to NVIDIA, the performance boost you can get
from a GeForce GT 700M GPU is up to 15%, compared to previous-generation NVIDIA
mobile GPUs. High-profile games such as Assassin’s Creed III, DOTA 2, Far Cry 3
and Borderlands 2 are easily playable with GT 700M GPUs.
